They do put head under, can be for a few min i think?

In this heat no wonder having a soak!

They do put there heads under but hold their breath, pretty much any non amphibian or fish that puts its head under water wont be able to breathe.

already thought of that :P its not too bad in here tho. fans been on all day and no significant changes to normal although it is muggy :( im betting he is due to shed like you said aswell, i think he was doing this last time before he shed! x

Lol, midnight does this coming up to shed, maybe the air temps is a bit hi as its muggy out, my room temps are 24 all the reps have ice block ontop of their vivs/rub :)
