First was Trixie, moving into a smaller tub as she isn't doing well in the bigger tub.

Then it was Boris's turn but this was a clean out. Poor thing was absolutely terrified, shows that their rep is born out their fear.

Back to the tub

Then came Sam the little hair kicking feisty monster.

First she tries to run away so I have to give her the glass over trick but more of a bucket.

Then she showed me her legs

Then back to her tub

OK mamma and Mamma's girl, they can all bite with different levels of consequences. The Chilean is the one out of them you'd choose to bite you as its supposedly about the same as being stung by a bee, the Salmon Pink would be the next one their a bit more potent than a Chilean but still in the bee sting realm, both of the above can also kick hairs that irritate skin, eyes and lungs and this is best avoided, the Salmon is the one who kicks hairs in my gang. Then there is the OBT, they don't kick hairs but their bite is something else. You'd be looking at severe burning, cramps, nausea, vomiting, headaches pain like something ridiculous (I heard a lady say child birth was less painful) and this can last for over a week so a bite from this one is best avoided oh and they repeatedly bite too making it just that little bit worse.

BUT they are all very reluctant to bite, and will run back to their burrows long before they get aggro.

so, educate me more about these little 8-legged critters. Can any of them bite you? (sorry you have prob heard these questions a billion times before but I am genuinely interested ) What is the worst potential damage they can do to you? Do you need to keep them heated etc?

(Mammasgirl is currently sitting reading over my shoulder asking these questions lol. Her and her little sister would like a T eventually. But daddy says nooooo lol xx)
