It appears reptile meets are just as dangerous as forums for making you want more animals lol. I attended my second meet last Sunday and spent the last hour or so with my kids giving me puppy eyes and the breeder goading them on over one of the little guys my daughter is holding here, she didn't want to give it back bless her:

Soo yesterday I collected these little dudes.
First up are the kids new additions, named Nessie and Blade. Can't tell which is male and which is female so I'm guessing and counting this one as the female Nessie:

One in natural light:

This is Blade, the one I'm guessing to be male as he's nipped Nessie on the head and wouldn't sit still for pics....got to be male if he's a trouble causer lol:

Making themselves at home:

Next is my new addition. Was only planning on a pair (one each for the kids) but was offered this one as he/she has been bullied and is scarred. The imaginatively named Stumpy!
Covered in sand as his tub developed some condensation:

Such a cute little face:

You can see how he got his name on this pic, plus the scarring on his back:

Oh,forgot the important bit. They are Occelated skinks, only 2 months old. Love how they look like their dinky little legs have been stuck on as an after thought

Thankyou. I'm over the moon with them, especially my little Stumps
They aren't at all what I expected,I just thought they'd be dashing about in the sand and fun to watch but they are becoming quite tame.
Little Stumpy especially has gone from being too shy to catch his crix when watched to popping his head out checking out whats going on when I take the lid of his tub,he actually stepped up onto my hand last night.
Got a short vid of my daughter feeding him a sliver of grape.

Awwww they are so cute. Skinks recently came to my attention too, the reptile shop was boarding a blue tongued skink and it was so cute and stumpy.

I don't know what you mean!
Lol,the majority are in the lounge. I have a 3 viv stack and a rack in there. My bedrooms the quarantine room lol. I haven't opened the zoo to the public just yet.

Cheers everyone,I'll admit I did poke Nessie earlier as she'd had been lying in the same spot out in the open for ages with her eyes shut and I got worried she'd died! Poor love was just asleep, looked at me disgusted and nodded back off lol!
They all fed and drank yesterday too,I'd forgotten how entertaing lizards are when they are hunting.
