when they are born the spines are under a membrane so they seem to have none. After a few hours they come through. Baby spines are deffo softer but still pretty hard and sharp. Poor mum wont pick them up

Im keeping the girl, want to continue her parents line as they have fab temperments and have always had healthy, good tempered hedgies. The boy has been reserved (since before he was born lol) Ill wait til 2 weeks then start thinking of names for her, I dont want to jinx lol
