Posted - 24/10/2011 : 00:38:49 Ahhh Paulie here is the good news for you, Sanke is a Hogg Island Boa, she is only likely to hit about 5-6 feet long, 7 feet absolute max but more likely 5-6 feet, 'dwarf' species are available out there, Hogg was my favourite, they can be fiesty as babies but they do calm down a bit as adults.
Duke is a big Royal, he was only 400 Grams when I got him and fit in the palm of my hand (balled up) but now he is 1200+ Grams and 4 feet of very strong snake. He is such a lovely snake though, a bit shy but thats nothing new for a Royal, he is also fasting at the moment(well almost, he keeps sneaking little rats when nobody is looking) which also is nothing new for a Royal. Royals get bad press I think, they are fussy, they are shy but I wouldn't be without Duke he is such a lovely big fella. |
