It doesn't matter how long it was... if you stared a room with someone with a cold fora few minuets your can get a cold.

Large male what?, if its your corn would suggest you check the temps as boas require a warmer hot end than corns. I have also assumed the other mat that it is shared with is 11 x 11 also.

edit: shared mats will only really work if you use the mats in the same housing types, so if you are trying to heat a glass tank with one and a rub with another it is unlikely that you will get the correct temps in the rub.

here he is curled up in a ball next to the water bowl and the measurements are: l - 74cm x w - 34cm

yh true 1 sec and he will probably be curled up as he likes to curl up in the plant pot in the picture plus hes only on a mat for the time being, until he goes into a viv, which is when hes going onto a bulb/lamp

What are the measurements of the base of the rub? It's prob the angle but it looks tiny in the pic and the top looks wider than the base?

So your keeping him on a heatmat then?

Might be better to see a pic of him in the rub :)

this is his setup inside, but he also has an 11 x 11 inch heat mat and i have him on a shared stat with the large male as his own seperate 1 is on its way, but anyway, heres a pic of the inside of his rub:

bearing in mind that the mats under his rub and not in it

ilovemypets1988 Posted - 24/03/2011 : 10:28:52
now ive got him, i wouldnt change him for anything, i hand fed him last night as he was due a feed and he struck and constricted so im very happy with him and even after that he was gentle as i was sorting out some fresh water for him, i nudged him by accident and he just looked at me, not even a sound from him, so not to bad lol
