this is the second time i have fed him,the first time he had a little strike from his hide and i didnt take no pics as i didn't want to put him off,this this time he came out of his hide like a rocket and nailed it.

The African rock eating snake does, it east some rocks and then eats prey, the rocks help crush the food. |

i think hes due to shed but didnt notice it until i took the pics as it was dark,will leave him to it now and hopefuly shed. |

i did wonder what it was eating lol!
its a beautiful snake, absolutely fantastic markings. is he getting ready to shed or is that just the way the photo dulls his eye(s)
