Ok for those of you that don't know Mayhem my brazilian rainbow boa well he is a fussy feeder and today i thought i would try him on mice and see what his feeding responce is like from that instead of ratpups which he can be very picky at..  .
Well i let this small mouse defrost then i blasted it with a hairdryer to warm it up and then put a small slit on the head of the mouse to draw some brains out to make the scent stronger well however i opens his RUB up and offer the small mouse to him and within a few secs he was extreamly intrested in it  after he got closer to it out of the unexpected Bammm !! Strike and coil i was amazed that his feeding responce has jumped a big ammount so i take it as he don't like ratpups and prefers mice.. I have few pics below and a video of him eating.

Oh yeah your JCP is lushh i would have it lol, Your right Mayhem is just weird he loves mice but he has made it clear that he don't like rats and will only take a rat if i keep waving it about after 5 mins he gets pretty angry and then takes it.  |

my JCP is the same shows no intrest in rats at all but wave a mouse or gerbil or chick infront of him and he strikes with force |

I agree hehe he doesn't normally coil or even strike i think from the feeding responce he got from mice instead of rats was alot better.

Thanks Phil , Glad you liked the video what did you think to the music i had remixed ? And yes your right others should have the speakers turned lower as it is very bassy and loud haha.

Hes always hungry but a very fussy feeder when i offer him rats so i think he 100% prefers mice so that will be his new diet hopefully we will see how it goes. His sister is fine on rats she enjoys them

Vid is very good, nice to see him in action. Just don't have your speakers turned up to loud when starting it. |
