Glad she is all sorted now.

I do for my Leo's as it does help them to shed. I keep mine in the cool side so it stays damp for longer.

Had just been reading up on damp hides and my next question was going to be how often do i need to change the moss...the link just answered that. Thanks. Her toes are all clean now but will use the damp hide anyway. Should i keep it in her viv all the time? Im guessing yes from what ive been reading.

A damp hide is just tub with some wet spagnum moss in it.

Have a look at this link to help you.

She has much less left than in the photo. Literally just like little fingernails. Sorry to sound stupid but what is a damp hide?

No problems...

With mine I use a damp hide to loosen it up, then using a wet cotton bud, gently rub towards the toe nail and this normally does the trick.

oh dear..ok will keep checking. Thanks.

Very nice...

Keep an eye on the shed left on her toes. If left on it can cause her to lose her toes, like with tips of tails on snakes.
