Posted - 30/05/2010 : 22:22:51 thanks everyone for your suggestions i was the cold blooded shop today and got chatting to a guy who builds vivs and he uses yacht sealant!he said as long as i leave it all open and air it well it will be fine. sounds a bit random to me but hey ho you live and learn

Posted - 30/05/2010 : 14:14:12 if its for the joints in the wood, then I use acrylic sealant in my vivs, its a lot less 'smelly' than silicone and water soluble before it cures so I'm guessing less toxic before it sets? |

Posted - 30/05/2010 : 09:55:07 Ah yes they are I have no idea to be honest about sealing a lot of wood. If you use melamine you won't need to seal it though as the finish is already water proof. |
