Posted - 15/03/2010 : 00:03:22 It could have started to collapse just because of humidity. Have you candled it at all, just to make sure?
But don't rotate the egg (if you still have it). |

Posted - 14/03/2010 : 22:50:25 aww thats a shame :(
dont be disheartened though! if your geckos have layed one, then there are likely a few more clutches on the way! good luck if you do get more :) |

Posted - 10/03/2010 : 13:46:43 The fur could be a little bit of mold, but it shouldn't effect a fertile egg. You could cover the egg with spaghum moss because apparently mold doesn't like the PH of it.
I know you can use atheletes foot powder on corn eggs too, but geckos aren't me speciality so I'd wait to see if anyone else backs me up on that. |

Posted - 08/03/2010 : 21:25:36 just checked the egg still looks good !! found a tiny bit of fur on it does this mean that the egg is no good or does this happen it is nice and firm to touch and still a nice white colour |

Posted - 04/03/2010 : 15:36:55 It should feel like a small inflated leather ball really. A bit springy to the touch, but not squishy.
If you get a soft pencil and draw a line on the top of it as well, to make sure it doesn't get rotated then provided it incubates OK, and it's fertile, you should get a nice little baby soon. |
