Where do i find information on Childrens Pythons, i checked the royal python site and nothing jumps out at me? Thinking of getting a childrens python rather than royal as i dont want there to be any chance it will eat my cat or rabbit

This is why we need a few recticulated pythons or anacondas on our estate. Much more likely to have a kitty meal

Very much out of the question. It wont be able to eat anything more than a medium/large rat.

So what is the largest prey animal a royal python would or could eat. Are 3kg cats out of the question then?

Yes i read that they grow to around 3 to 4 foot.

royals or childrens won't eat your cat etc, they're too small ;)

theres a care sheet here: http://www.petsnakecare.net/childrens-python.php and if you get stuck looking for more info, look at spotted pythons, they're very closely related
