In regards the 2 males, I have 2 males together and they don't have any problem.
However, a vast amount of people do.
I've spent quite a while sat in a chair next to the viv head bobbing to show my beardies that i'm the dominant one.
They can be violent towards each other if they are trying to be the dominant one or trying to get a females attention.

Got two Dont know sex yet so may have to invest in another viv ! Though, have been given conflicting advice on males with males being a bad idea and been told thats ok by others !?

I've seen a few animals with scarring due to heat issues, my Trio has got a damaged tail due to heat, ingestion and impact. Some can be pretty bad.

Anyways back to topic....

How many beardies did you get Janeann?? Mine were that dinky once.

actually i know a snake that got burned by a faulty heat mat

Fair point but and everyone is allowed an opinion, i don't know anyone who's fried their snake on a dodgy heat mat either but i've still put all mine on stats. Better to be safe than sorry and all that.

not to naive here but the point of calci sand is so baby beardies can lick it and digest it properly. you need to remove any large lumps (i do it with a siv scoop) i just feel somewhere someone had a problem with a beardiedieing of impaaction due to sand and then its just escalated. my mate who i got my GF's beardie from has been keeping beardies for 30+ years on sand and never had one death due to impation. im sorry but i just do believe it.

Don't mean to pee on your bonfire coz they are so sweet and cute and lovely but i personally wouldn't advise keeping them on sand, impaction in baby beardies is a nasty business.
