Mine was very hissy when I got him, He calmed down in no time.
Mine still likes to get away from you when in his viv but once you pick him up he's calm as can be.
Glad you found one, You definatly wont regret it!

i take it ur down south tho
and i phoned the shop today and turns out it was only 130 quid the 200 must have been something else i was looking at, decided im gonna leave the corns till tic tac is old enough to breed so i get some more interesting snakes rather than the pair of normals i was offered, so skink it is, hopefully i can pull together enough cash to get another heat mat, a basking bulb and a uv(B?) bulb and the skink before it sells, cause they hardly ever have them in

hehe thanks for advice its either a skinky or a breeding pair of corns and ive been doing my research into breeding but im still not sure if im gonna do it, but i got to hold a blue tongue in the pet shop and i think there amazing, was also thinking of turtles(used to have terrapins) but they take a lot of cleaning

what about feeding, ive heard some caresheets say evry 2-3 days and some say weekly
BlueTongueDan Posted - 13/07/2009 : 23:59:28
Id say that price is about right for pet shop prices.
I think mine was around that, Im not sure though as mine was a birthday presant.
Ive seen them cheaper though in private sales. Infact theres one on 'thedarkside' now for £70.
Make sure you get a CB animal though. There seems to be a lot of WC around atm.

Cant really comment on how they differ from other skink species as ive only ever owned the Blue Tongue.

I would definatly reccomend a Bluey though, They're great lizards
