Posted - 08/06/2009 : 01:33:21 Aw, I love my wee leo, she's adorable. They're so cute, and have such intelligent looking eyes. That said, I would get a beardy if I could afford it ^^; But I wouldn't trade in Zilly, I'd feel like I was betraying my poor wee gecko.

Posted - 07/06/2009 : 23:04:19 i have had my 2 leos for 11 months. I have to admit they do get quite boring as they sleep alot lol. But from february they have been alot more active. They are really beautiful reptiles, quite skittish to handle. They might get boring but i will never get rid off them because they were my first EVER reptiles |

Posted - 07/06/2009 : 22:00:47 Yea i got a Leopard Gecko then like 2weeks later swapped it for a Beardie.. there like the most Popular Pet in the Reptile Industry.. but yes they can come as quite boring pets.. i thought they were Boring. Beardies are LOTS more fun :) |

Posted - 31/05/2009 : 20:19:28 Leopard Geckos get up to about 8 inces long, can be a bit jumpy to handle but generally not bitey although some hot females can be aggresive, yes you will have to feed them live food, a mixture of worms and crickets/locusts, they don't eat dead stuff.
Crested geckos don't really eat live food, just fruit mush and most people buy babyfood for that, google for some care sheets for more info if your interested in them. |

Posted - 31/05/2009 : 19:11:50 what about leopard geckos?? r they snappy or are they a nice creature to handle?? Also do you have to feed them LIVE crickets?? I dont think my mum likes the idea of me letting LIVE crickets out on the lose. i know you can feed them mealworms, what else can i feed them?? (preferably DEAD!! lol) |

Posted - 26/05/2009 : 10:36:01 The most commen Geckos are probably Leopard Geckos, I have a couple. Great starter Reps but alot of people find them boring after a while, the novelty wears off pretty quickly. Saying that they are so easy to keep and not expensive to feed and i've recently re-discovered how sweet my pair are and have been well in to them again.
The other commenly kept geckos are crested geckos, also really sweet and pretty easy to keep but as i've nver owned them wouldn't like to say much more. |
