She seemed a bit dehydrated when I got her, she drank for half an hour and had a bit of a wrinkle in her tail. But that's gone now and she seems to be doing great. She needs her food scented with tuna, I'm told haven't tried it without yet, I'll wait until she's settled in first.
Any hognose tips I should know? |

Posted - 02/12/2014 : 01:23:24 I love their Scrappy-Doo personalities. Tubbs is trying to mock strike but she's too light for the force she does it with, so it's more of a random jump in the air. |

Posted - 29/11/2014 : 14:45:49 She's not tried to dig me yet. I've only actually held her 4 times, and that includes putting her in the viv when I got her and intervening the time she was drinking so long I worried she was actually drowning! I've been letting her have her settling in period (and I'm also quite nervous of scaring her and getting the musk treatment!) I'll be doing a lot more interacting with her over the next couple of days.
I'm not sure of the age. As she was just off some guy on Gumtree, just had to snap her up as hognoses seem to be very thin on the ground in Scotland. This was the ad...
The date of birth on there can't be right I think as she's too wee, but I don't know. Perhaps the "rehome" date was the birthday and he's filled in the wrong box? |

Nice one!! only thing i can think of at this time of night is if she does not use top hides, i use split toilet rolls under aspen either side. And they really can be fussy eaters! She is gorgeous, love the 2nd pic lol How old is she? Did she 'dig' in your hand, that is sharp lol |
