Put in a cricket. It's went into the hide Masuka is in so I can't see what is happening!
Going to leave it 15/20mins then have a peek. Hopefully he eats it.
I'm sure I'm more stressed than he is over this haha!

Yeah puts my mind at rest a bit. Still alot of work to do till he's my 'buddy' but just glad he's comfortable enough already to eat (even if it's only 2 bugs and took a while haha!)

He might not know the mealies are there, Kira only started helping herself when I got rid of the mealworm dish and got a metal chutney tin (pack of 8, poundshop lol) then she could see and hear them |

No no screaming, however he bit me this morning haha! Just a quick nip, but I stood my ground and kept talking to him calmly, he came out again opening and closing his mouth (smelling?) When I picked up the hide to check the bug was gone he didn't tail waggle though just wandered about a little.
But bugs! put one in, left it about 40mins, and he'd taken it woooo! So I popped in another, thought he'd taken it went to bed.
This morning i went in to change water, bloomin bug jumped down from above! Must have been hanging on the side at the top!
Masuka was awake so i got the bug in tongs (took a while, dealt with it better than i thought i would though!) And he took it from the tongs after alot of licking it lol.
So at least hes eaten something  (still no mealies)
Will try again in a couple of nights see what happens! |

Hopefully you will get to see next one get scoffed, is he still screaming at you? i think its funny when small ones have big attitudes |

You probably are! I am paranoid about losing sight of the bugs so I know they have been eaten! Hope if goes well for you |
