Hiya guys
Now normally I am on here putting posts on, on how well my little hatchling is doing but today I am not.
Yesterday me and my family went to pick up two 5 year old Terrapins!
It came with a large tank, and a large filter and from Cambridge which is close which was helpful for us too but anyway we have decided on calling them Kate and Will because the day we first met them Kate and Will had their baby boy, and the day we got them was the day they left hospital so we thought well why not!
But anyway their story is quite sad really they got chucked in a river by these nasty people but luckily this nice man went and collected them and gave them a home but sadly he was moving house so he had to get rid of them, so we found his link on gumtree and decided as a family we would give them a nice new home!
The reason we have got them is because a family member had always had an interest in them so when her fish sadly died she thought well why not have something I have always wanted. So we did!!!
Now they have settled we tried feeding them on carrots and a few little muscles and they absolutely loved them.
Kate is such an eater it is so unbelievable... what ever Will leaves she will eat bless her.
They are so cute too!!!
But anyway just thought I would tell you are new friends we have got, I will keep you all informed on how well they are doing in the future too.

congrats on your own royal couple  its so annoying that people think it is fine to just dump them  . One word of warning they are smelly buggers! Having helped clean out the terrapin pond at work today I can vouch for how stinky the little critters are  |
