Hay guys, so I got Loki out today and have noticed his head scales are raised away from head...looks like human skin when it peels?...shed few weeks ago was very bitty and had retained at tail tip but got that off and been fine since...only noticed these today...any ideas? Sorry can't get decent pic

Ok thankyou, I was wondering if that is what is was had read something on net saying could be that but don't always trust it lol... just a bit paranoid. thank you :) I shall keep an eye on it

Sometimes snakes can catch their scales on stuff, one of mine has a ridge down his neck where the scales go the wrong way because he burrowed under a heavy hide and pulled back. If it doesn't look too bad, don't worry, should sort itself out next shed.
