Hi all, I'm wondering where online or a shop near Derby if you know one lol that is good for *shudders* dubia roaches or silkworm? I need something for my Leopard gecko as she wont touch anything other than mealworms. I even bought her some locust yesterday but she won't touch it :/

Yeah I've tried black and brown crickets, locust, waxworm, supers and mealies, and she will only eat a couple of mealies. She used to eat crickets and locust but then she just stopped!

Thank you ozziesmum, I'll take a look now

Serena 08 I had the same problem so started breeding silkies for my leopard gecko, they are really easy to breed and care for if a bit fiddly and time consuming but there is a site called the silkworm store and it's where I got my starter silkies from. I have just had my first lot hatch this year as they don't survive our winters, I'll try and find the link for you hang on a minute while I look.

there you go and he has silkworms in stock just now,

The breeder I got my leopard gecko from only ever feeds mealworms.
I have read that this doesn't do them any harm.
I prefer mine to have a variety and I'm lucky that she will take other foods, apart from locusts.
I assume you've tried crickets?
