Water python Liasis fuscus.
Unfortunately it seems to be almost impossible to find one in the UK for sale...I don't think there are many about. |

Posted - 22/03/2013 : 10:01:35 I have recently been looking at posts *whispers... on the dark side* and have seen a couple of pics of white lipped recently. I have to say I'm not keen on them personally, don't know why, just think they look like they've damaged their jaws I suppose lol! |

Hmm, I don't find Macklots quite so 'wow' as the water pythons but Oooh, white lipped pythons are very pretty too. A tiny bit of research on them says that they are generally quite aggressive though, unless you can get a captive bred hatchling. Another quite google search says that's almost impossible in UK... I wonder why they're not more popular, they're so pretty! Although maybe nobody fancies owning a 7-8 ft aggressive snake.
There are a couple of people who have them on another forum I frequent and they say they are a bit viv defensive but that they do not live up to the reputation that proceeds them and are generally OK. Corns are meant to be placid but my Suki has yet to learn this |
