Update on Zilla. For the first few days I got whipped from him every time I put my hand in the viv (he had a settle period before hand!!!).
Just over a week later he has been more confident with my hand but still prepared in attack position, when he un tenses his body I then remove my hand as a positive reward. Today he has just eaten 2 pieces of broccoli between 2 fingers
Im so happy the hard work and patience is starting to pay of a little lets hope it continues.

Thanx for the comments people, now I just need to spend the rest of my life taming him lol
yeah he is a red iguana greens and reds are kept the same but its down to personal preference to which you prefer.

I'm guessing he's a Red Iguana not a Green? lol. He's very nice, I personally prefer the greens but I find the red pretty too. |
