My mum has officially said that I can have a pair of Hognose Snakes! So happy right now! She was like "Nope!" until I told her that they don't need huge vivs like the corns do lol. When I told her they can live in RUB's for life she went "Hmm... OK... And why do you want them?" And I went "I love them and I think they're cute and I think you'll think they're cute too" and she went "Let's go look at some RUB's then XD

Victory dance!

You'll soon find they each like thins their own certain way, and whilst one is happy to take food if it's just left in, the other requires mouse puppetry, and the other only takes when it's been dried with a hair dryer LOL!

They are fantastic snakes, very rewarding!

I'm all ready for that lol, have a friend who breeds mice on hand for if I need fresh killed at any point.

I just wondered cause I don't know where to put the probe if the heat mat is under the RUB's...

directly on the mat and measure the temps in the RUB's on the floor

Thank you

Yes, the corns are my first priority. I've already told my mum that(she seems more excited than me XD) and she said "OK, do what you need to" and then I'll be getting their RUB's, Heat Mat and Stat all ready. I have a question, since they can live in RUB's their whole life will I be able to buy a larger heat mat and have the RUB's half on it each? Rather than buying 2 heat mats, 2 stats and everything? Just wondering because as you all probably know, I'm on a short budget and jobsearching hates me so I'm at a moot point right now. Got the corns as my first priority though, they always will be. Unless obviously one of the hoggies becomes ill or something(hopefully not!), then they will be my first priority for that time lol.

congratulations on convincing your mum on getting hogs if that's what you like (each to their own ), and sorry if I sound a bit of a stooge now but will you be getting all of your corns kit sorted out first and then saving and getting all the correct equipment for the hogs before you buy them?
