Posted - 11/02/2013 : 16:19:05 Same here mine just has a large water bowl. When she went blue I put a damp/wet flannel on top of her hot hide which is under the ceramic and she gave me a perfect shed. She is on kitchen towel at the moment. I do not have a hygrometer in with her so I am unsure of humidity but from what I have read hygrometers are next to useless only measuring humidity in the exact point of the probe. If your BCI sheds ok then I would not worry. |

Posted - 10/02/2013 : 10:39:47 What substrate are you using? My BCI have aspen/repticard/megazorb and they seem perfectly happy with no shedding problems with just larger water bowls than the corns for their humidity. My Cuban boas have orchid bark instead; a big water bowl and some misting keeps them happy |
