This is our latest member of the family - Boris the Duprasi!

Also sometimes called Fat Tailed Gerbils. They aren't gerbils, but are a part of that family, and have been described as the missing link between hamsters and gerbils!

They're quite new into the pet trade and I've been looking for one for almost a year! I nearly gave up hope until I walked into Cadbury Garden Centre and pretty much had a heart attack.
Lots of excited squeals, jumping and £50 later...

Haha, awh you're making me wish I called him Hambil now! But Boris has already stuck.
One of my friends went "ooo look, he's got a willy for a tail!" Yes... Thanks for that lol! Its abit like a leopard gecko's tail, the fatter it is, the healthier they are. And because they're desert animals, it also acts abit like a camel's hump and stores reserves.
Cadbury are getting better each time I go. There's all sorts there now, I have to blinker myself when I walk through otherwise I'd be over run!
