heres Pick the latest addition to the family:

She's been retired from the college that i work at, sadly last week we had to have her friend put to sleep we decided due to her age it wasn't fair to try and introduce a new friend. So she has come to live her days out with me
she's now been with me a week and has settled really well.

I didn't release how much I'd missed having gerbils till I brought Pick home she's such a funny little character

Nawh, I love the small furries :) As much as I find snakes and lizards fascinating, you still can't go wrong with a good old gerbil or hammy.

I used to look after the gerbils at school. Delightful little characters.
Pick looks beautiful. Glad she's come home with you for special attention!

Thanks all, she seems happy enough which is good as I was worried how she'd settle to life on her own. Pick's definatly a spoilt girl now all those toilet roll tubes to her self lol.

Awww, very cute Gerbils often don't take to new gerbils anyway, I think you made the right decision as she'll get all the attention to herself
