Posted - 02/12/2012 : 20:48:54 Just bought a 4ft viv for some beardies that hubby wants, yes we want something that we can handle, we are thinking of some Leo's as prob best to handle a fair bit. Thank you |

Posted - 01/12/2012 : 10:35:44 depends entirely on your requirements really............. i keep madagascar day geckos which are a fantastic display species in a nicely planted viv but are not a species to be handled cresties are pretty but mainly nocturnal so you won't see much of them during the day leos are very handleable and come in a variety of morphs and then there's maybe lizards to think about? like beardies for example
you need to think about what you want it for or what you want to be able to do eg. handling how much space you have or will have - adult beardies need a big enclosure, arboreal geckos need tall enclosures feeding and food supply, do you want to deal with live food such as crickets and locusts or would you prefer something that has powder diets that you mix with water |

Posted - 30/11/2012 : 00:07:40 I've not had many geckos, but the best had to be my golden geckos. No need for fancy morphs, they are awesome just as they are :) |
