Nigel is doing well. He is now eating two rat fuzzies at each feed and now weighs 157g a gain of 35g since we bought him and he has successfully shed with us. He is a real softy but very nosey
Steve is very placid. I was always led to believe that hoggies are bit grumpy. Steve is just so laid back. He is now eating double pinkies every 3 days and we will be trying him with his first mouse fluff on saturday, fingers crossed for that.
I have a feeling that there may be more royals and hoggies to come lol

He is now 9 months old, and weighs 27g and has grown loads, he is a right chuck, I will post pics later :) he has fluffs every 4 days and every 3rd feed he goes 5 days. He would eat 2 if I gave him chance. When I first got him, he took 5 double pinky feed and fasted for 4 1/2 weeks so stayed back at 9g I then got him to feed scented with toad. He has eaten solidly only missing one whilst blue until the last 2 feeds, one for no reall reason and his last feed he was in blue which I hadn't realised, I was told they only shed a couple of times a year and he only shed on the 15th of may I thinks its due to him being on fluffs and actually eating regularly that he's shed, hed triple in weight since I got him :)

Wow that is absolutely tiny, people are advertising hatchlings at more than that. How old and what weight is he now? And what is he feeding on now?

Edit, hero was 9g at six months

We are feeding double pinkies because when he arrived he was just having one pinky but by his girth I feel he should be on mice fluffs. The pinkies I have are quite small and two together only make 3-4g lol. They are tiny. I know that hoggies have alot quicker matabolism than corns and most people I know with hoggies feed twice a week, even adults getting a mouse twice a week. Its not my intention to power feed as I totally disagree with it, I simply want to move him onto fluffs. His feeding will then be dropped to every 4 days. Hopefully moving him on to fluffs will also help him gain some weight, 17gramms at 6 months is a little small I feel.
This probably sounds silly, I am hoping that he will have the occasional off day and get a bit grumpy as this is what I was kind of expecting and it is bit of let down if I am honest
