I wish I read this 5 mins ago , I just deleted all the photo's on my camera literally 5 mins ago and one was a slightly blurry shot of her on the ledge .

Posted - 24/06/2012 : 18:32:15 i was having the same ledge problem for my 2. i combated it by screwing some cork bark onto bamboo legs and putting another piece across to reach it. ile stick a pic in below! That youtube link looks soo easy! ive made hides for my leo and snakes when they get bigger out of old ice cream tubs and paper mache. so convenient cause i put moss on the lid then the hide goes onto when shedding occurs! I will also include a pic!
Underneath the bark (i just screwed screws straight through and imbedded then into the bark to the screwed the bamboo onto them from the bottom.
The whole thing. abit hard to see it through the vines and (dunelm ivy wheyy!) i didn't wanna disturb it all for the pic
The top.
And one of the hides i made!

I have to put it on the floor in the corner too so he can sneak down and eat it when nobody is looking. Its odd because for a fruit eater Harley is a bug assassin, lol, he loves the moths too, I've pursuaded him that taking food from my hand is good fun too though he always gets too enthusiastic and bites me at the same time lol.
Fudge is the same, would rather have a roach, wont eat fruit AT ALL, dont think he realises he is a FRUIT EATING gecko! And lol it does nip when they get a bit of finger, i jump everytime! |

Semi-skimmed or the deluxe full milk option?
lol i use the purple top, kinda like skimmed, but tastes better! for me anyway, its in a rub, so ust the plastic tie things to attatch things, if i got the expensive one, wa gonna get thin bit of metal, drill holes then attatch to rub. i was just thinking of something that is on the side, but high up as they prefer height, but open to imagination! sadly i do have some styrene, got new washing machine as last one squealed its last, i did think one bit was good as it was a 'brick' kinda shape, happy to post if you want it?
And lmao at Bob, jeez i am slow tonight, had to read that a few times |

Posted - 19/06/2012 : 21:34:28 lol yeahm less swinging, more suspended haha
a couple of my wax works turned into moths and goyle is leaping around his viv trying to catch them lol
what makes it slightly crueler (funnier) is that he still cant stick to glass very well. |

Posted - 19/06/2012 : 21:03:50 Because i was looking in to cheaper things, i thought bout attatching a plastic jubilee clip to rub so it could hold the milk lid, great cheap option, but i want something bit better. But if Auld Bauldy is feeling creative.....!!
Georgina any creations you make MUST be pictured and demonstrated! if they work out, and you wouldnt mind, i think most crestie owners here would buy things Just sucks i have zero talent! |

Posted - 19/06/2012 : 17:43:18 I know what you mean. I keep emailing stickfeet but get no response. I've even messaged the brother of the owner of stickyfeet and although he said he would pass my messgae on I've still had nothing from them. I can't believe the magnetic shelves and feeders are so difficult to come by. They seem such a good idea. |

Posted - 19/06/2012 : 16:13:58 I'm assuming you mean this http://www.stickyfeet.co.uk/p/93/medium-mushroom-ledge I have been trying to get my hands on one for ages but they are really hard to come by. There is a tutorial on youtube to make one. Seems quite simply if you have the time. This is the link to part one there are several parts http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t39G1aN1DUE Bert has his dish (plastic milk bottle top) balanced on the artificial rock background. He won't eat from the ground so I am assuming that he would eat from a shelf. |
