well the day I was dreading arrived yesterday my little Bluebell went off to her new forever home and I can't believe how quiet the house is without her. I was hoping to keep her here until she was fully feathered at around 4 weeks old but it was becoming more and more obvious that the bond she had got with me was just too strong and she needed to be with her own kind but that was the one thing I couldn't give her, believe me I tried everywhere to get her a little mate but nowhere had any Orpington chicks for sale.
Ross is a lovely guy and I know she is going to be so happy living there with him his wife and all of their furry, feathered and scaly family. I've got an open invitation to visit whenever I want so I shall still see her and there will still be loads of photos as she grows.
