not really about corn snakes so sorry to post here but the gecko forums SUCK!

Ive recently got a crestie and having a little trouble with the humidity levels

they sit at around 85-90% which is too high, but the leaves etc need to be wet for him to drink off of.

any ideas to lower the humidity?

Are you just spraying once at night? or more? as they are nocturnal thats when they will drink. If you have absorbant substrate, this will keep humidity high. 18 is a bit too cold, 20 is better, but only just.
And weird that on a crestie forum you dont get a response!
And more important, why have we not had pics of your crestie?

Is it a wooden viv? Sometimes if there isn't enough airflow in the viv the moisture has not way to escape.

Is the orchard bark wet, that's more of a substrate that's used for snakes needing high humidity an could be the cause of it. How are u measuring at as most don't bother measuring humidity for corns as its not needed to be maintained at a high level

approx 20" square and about 24" high

temps between 21 - 25 during the day, 18-20 at night

orchid bark substrate, lots of artificial plant
