Hi all,
well after wasting money buying an incubator for raising silkworms it seemed a shame to waste it so 3 weeks ago I bought 6 buff orpington eggs and this morning the first one hatched hopefully it won't be the only one, the chick(s) will stay with me for a few weeks in the brooder and will then be moving to a friend who keeps chickens as a hobby (as pets and for eggs not meat).

Awwww a little chick, so cute.
I scrapped my attempts to breed silk worms they all turned to mush within days on every attempt no matter what I tried. I think they had self destruct buttons. |

So cute! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE were actually off to see a buff orpington today. Take more pictures I demand it! They will grow so quickly! If you were nearer and could get rid of them when they were older I would totally nick one off you/your friend :P |
