what sizes do people use for other snakes (boas and pythons really), what size do people start for younger snakes? |

It depends on how big the snake is as to how big the RUB needs to be, they say the smallest a RUB should be is length+width=snake length
I started my Boa in a 18 Litre RUB but within 6 months she had outgrown it, then I put her in a 32 Litre not rub but some other tub but she outgrew it after about 3 months, She is now in a 3X2 vivarium and she has just about outgrown it and will be moving into her 6X2 probably in the next week or 2.
You will struggle to find a RUB big enough for an adult Boa so you have to be prepared to upgrade them to a vivarium at some point. |
