Morning all

just sat here bored to death at work (Fridays are always quiet) and the following popped into my head -

when geckos shed do they go 'blue', clear and then shed a few days later like snakes do or do they white over and shed immediately.

Thanks lotabob that's what I thought. I've caught all of Tripods apart from the last 2 and now this one when it happens he was white over when I left him this morning so expecting him to be nice and bright when I pop home at dinner.

They shed in minutes, and eat it so you're non the wiser unless they drop any bits. I have never seen Harley shed or show signs of shedding I just found a bit of foot skin once, it was really thick and rubbery too. I think leos are pretty much the same as Cresties in this respect anyway.
