Posted - 08/11/2011 : 13:21:06 OK, well this won't happen for a while, but at some point Domino will grow too big for the large Exo Terra faunarium I have him in at the moment. At that point I'm going to get him a vivarium.
However, then I'll have a spare faunarium sitting around looking empty. Do you guys have any ideas on whether there are any adult reptiles that would fit into a faunarium? My OH said "one snake only" so maybe a lizard/gecko or something to be sneaky? I'd prefer something that was fairly easy to look after as well, and preferably would eat something that didn't chirrup such as crickets (!)
Thanks in advance for your help, Hilary |

Posted - 09/11/2011 : 12:03:06 Ugh anything that crawls on more than four legs is a no-no for me, especially eight-legged hairy spiders - eek!
Thanks for all your ideas, frogs sound like a lot of work. I'm currently looking at small geckos such as helmeted or viper geckos. But as I said at the top, this is all in the future sometime, so I guess I should stop looking now!!! |
