my mrs and her mum have got got 3 beardies, 1 male and 2 females there approx 18 months plus, yet the male is almost twice the size of the females now and he is always on display but the females seem to be hidden most of the time at the mo... me thinks its that time of year and maybe the females are not that devoloped. but i have no experience with bearded dragons. ( there in a 4ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft viv with a heat bulb no guard!) any info would be more than apprieciated just to make sure they ok
thanks in advance :)

a 4x1.5x1.5 is the right size for 1 beardie. the male is probly twice the size as hes getting most of the food and the best basking spots. the others will be hiding as hes bullying them, you wont notice him doing this they can bully/intimidate each other but just looking. he needs to be put in a seperate viv as the long term affects could really damage the others health then motitor the females as if one of them then becomes dominant over the other then they would need to be split up aswell. same as snakes they are solitary animals even though some people keep them together with out problems. hope this helps
check out this forum, i got great advice from them when i had beardies
