Posted - 12/10/2011 : 13:55:38 today is the day my new royal will finally becoming home tonight after a very patient wait from egg to now and i just had to shout it out as i am slightly just a lil excited will be posting pics once he gets here before i put him away to settle for a week, my its going to be a very long week lol |

Posted - 16/10/2011 : 23:16:20 will have to pop on over, so far things seem to be going ok, only time i entered his viv was to change water and a blown bulb, he seems to be constantly out roaming around or sitting up the glass watching as i come and go, not sure he ever sleeps hes so active lol |

Posted - 16/10/2011 : 16:41:46 Duke's settling in lasted 7 weeks, lol, it took a few weeks to get him settled and feeding (and tuning in my setup to the fussy Royal way) and then 3 weeks of feeding. It soon passes though. Get yourself over to www.theroyalpython.co.uk come and have a read and a chat from all the other patient nutters with Royals. |

But
royals are not like corns the settling period is longer. Royals have the ability to stress at the drop of a hat, if you have one dont drop it, give it 3 feeds before handling to make sure it is settled. I know it is a pain in the rear end but is for the best. |
