I have 3 cresties, one mbd rescue and two healthy breeing pair. Im looking to breed them next year. I know about the adults care.
but i honestly dont know what would be suitable to house the babies in and what would be needed in their rub.
could someone tell me a size please ? |

Well they are in together. Because they were around 1.5 to 2 years of age, and they were both up to standard weight. she is just short of 40g and he is around 30g but nothing has happened yet :( |

A steady 75 degree's should be fine foe the eggs :) |

The female gecko should weigh 35-40 grams or more. If she is under this weight, then she is likely still growing, and forcing her to breed could take calcium away from the growing process and use it up in the egg production process, thereby stunting her growth or endangering her health. For her safety you –must- wait until she is the correct weight. In the long run she will be able to produce healthier eggs, as long as this precaution is followed.
Breeding season for the Crested Gecko can be anywhere between January and October and usually lasts for 8 months.

Okay thanks. I knew it would be spaced out through out the season.
Thats that question answered.
Temps for incubation - similar to a leopard geckos ?

They can have up to roughly 18 babies in a season as far as I'm aware , but not in one go , its spaced out . Unsure of when the season is tho |

averagely a crestie will give you 2 eggs, they lay after about 30 days from mating and incubation depending upon temp is roughly 60 days |

Are they easy to keep. I find the leopard geckos babies easy, and the adult cresties... Are the baby cresties similar ?
Also I read how often a adult will lay eggs, but I couldnt find a average on how many per a season or when the season starts/ends. Could you help me out here too please ?

I've kept my hatchlings in these:

(although they were cheaper when i got them lol!)
The babbies are so diddy they dont need huge enclosures - even a cricket box would do 
All i put in the boxes was kitchen roll (for substrate), bottle tops for food and water, and couple of leaves off one of my fake plants.
Easy to keep track of everything then (eating, pooping etc), and still gives the babies pretty much everything they need! |
