Its been a very sad day today in the tordyjo household, had to have our poor bunny flopsy put to sleep  I have a very sad 11 year old, had to explain that she was old, she'd stopped eating and drinking and the vet said today he could feel an enlarged kidney, at least she's not suffering. |

Aww R.I.P Flopsy.
I don't envy you at all having to make that decision,although you know its right its so difficult isn't it. Sounds like she's had a good long life and has been very much loved. Hope your little un isn't too upset by it all. Hugs sent your way. |

thank you everyone for your replies, i would say it was a hard decision to make, but there was no decision to be made, she was unwell, could barely stand, refused everything we offered, sometimes we have to be cruel to be kind. |

Sorry to hear that, this is what makes keeping animals so hard.
but she had a long and happy life, its just a shame that is not much comfort.
