Hey all!
I've been musing about a couple more snakes, (I've got the bug, yikes!) and I've been lusting after a sand boa after seeing a couple of gorgeous hatchie pics on here!
While I've been educating myself on husbandry for them, I seem to be drawing up a bit of a blank on where I can get them from.
I'd rather get them from a breeder, I was wondering if anyone knew of sand boa breeders in the South East UK (I'm willing to travel for them or pay for a rep courier) and what sort of prices I would be expecting to pay for one. I saw someone selling some babies on Preloved for £35 each, is that a good price?
Thank you, folks!

Stalking is just another form of flattery
and not to worry! if i ever get around to breeding them, i'll definitely show them off here

Auurrgh, I know, right! In fairness I have yet to scope out my local reptile shops, I'm pretty sure there is at last one around Brighton somewhere! I just fear the potential mark-up of they little beauties if they carry any!
And in a stalkerish way, in a few years(??) if you get around to breeding your beauties, I have friends up in Liverpool I go to see on and off! Hahaha!
/creepy stalker vibes

Same here - most of the species i've been looking for have always been at the other end of the country!
I've probably spend as much on couriers as i have on actual snakes lol

If you catch a courier doing a run they arent too expensive - About £35 i usually pay

Ahh, that's good to hear! I'll have to see how much my bank account will suffer with factoring in a courier as well! Haha~
No, I've noticed that the South seems to be a little neglected by breeders! :3 Well, of species that I really want! Haha~

£35 sounds like a good price to me!
Most pet shops i've seen sell normals for £80+.
I got my pair of double hets for £100

Theres a few breeders on RFUK, but i dont think they are close by to you...
