Not an exotic but still a member of the family
Came home from my sons judo class to find my neighbours waiting for me. Some cruel person had run over my 4yr old daughters cat and from the looks of it they had stopped and moved her to the pavement and just left her there. Not even attepmted to get her to an emergancy vet. The neighbourhood kids found her. They are all so upset by the shock of finding her and Roxy was known by all the neighbours..

Needless to say We are all deverstated. She was such a lovely cat. One in a million.

Horribly sad news. I lost my childhood cat in a similar way, it's a horrible way to lose a loved pet. Hope you're keeping okay.

Sounds like she made an impact on the whole neighbourhood.

She was Hannah, she used to follow me on the school run (45 minute round trip), she followed me to my mums, waited for me outside my mums house for an hour(she tryed to get in to the neighbours back garden to get to my mums garden to find me, gave up and waited.)till i came out then followed me home. Best friends with the dogs (found snuggling up with them), so friendly. Was cutting my grass yesturday and i missed her...hiding in the tub that fits on the front of the lawn mower. I still checked it. So many good memories of her in such a short life.

We buried Roxy in the front garden today. Tallie and George wanted to be apart of it. I thought it may help them to deal with it. The children who live near by and who found her, and neighbours all came to say good bye too. They left letters, bought flowers, made signs and stuck a picture of her to a special paving slab we have marked her grave with. It was so sweet that this special cat meant so much to all these kids and adults. And it has been lovely they have really helped my children cope with such a horrible, sad experience.

Thank you for all your kind words x
