Hi, got a cali banded king, oct 10 hatch, about a month ago she regurged her fuzzy after 4 days

so, i left her 10 days and she ate fine, the next feed, the same thing. i leave her 14 days, and now am feeding her 1 pinkie a feed, just so she keeps it down, last feed she regurged after 2 hours. so have lefter for another 10 days

any other ideas what i could do?
she is drinking fine, and dead nosy constanty out and about. doesnt try and bite me as she used to when being handled lol.
shes not lathargic at all, took her to the vets, he said she looks fine, lost a cpl of grams in weight, but not anorexic

vet told me to turn the stat up on her heat mat, and just do as im doing, giving it 10 days a feed

ps, have also posted this on the king snake forum,

I had a couple of regurges in the last few weeks, both from corns. It turned out they both shed a few days afterwards and have both fed fine since but it did worry me. Not sure why they did it but I'm just glad they are back to normal now.

Fingers crossed your king keeps the next one down ok :)

no handling at all now, and yeah followed all the advice on the regure sticky
i keep her quite, even moved her to the bedroom

shes still out and about though and playing the hoodini trying to pry her way out of her faun lol

and eyah she been regurging pinkies, just one so far, but thats why i leaving her a good 10 days til i try again

im sure she will be ok, and settle down. got some of that reptiboost just in case she does start losing a lot of weight, as it will settle her amino acids in her tum

Very strange. I don't know what to suggest.

So she is regurging pinkies now too?

Are you following the advice in the regurge sticky? No handlling at all, keeping her quiet and stress free?

I have my kings warm end at 30-33c.

lrv2307 Posted - 06/06/2011 : 17:38:23
hi hanna, was at 30 on the warm end, and ambient room temp on the cool side, same as my corn

vet said to turn it up, its at 31 now

makes me smile she never uses her warm hide that sits on the bare faun, but preff a piece of hoover flex hose that ive got sitting in the warm side
