I've just got some dubia roach to try the skinks on as they only eat mealworms with occasional morio worms at the moment. How many roach should they eat at any one time? And how often should I offer them food? I know people say keep a dish of mealworms in for them all the time but if I do that I doubt they will take to eating the roach. I would like to get them so they come and feed as soon as the insects are placed in their vivs. The skinks are about 1 year old. Thank you.

Stotty are you saying that the roach should be running around loose in the viv so the skinks hunt for them? I'm concerned the skinks may eat the substrate though they obviously don't in the wild. Should I keep this amount of roach in the viv all the time?
