only once in 2 seasons of laying has she ever used any of the lay boxes i've put in for her....missed 2 clutches of eggs last year as she laid them in silly places and they fell down and got lost in the substrate 
as these are a display species that aren't handleable and are very easily stressed they don't get a regular full clean out (and they mainly poo on the glass anyway lol that's easy to clean!) |
