went down to my local rep store yesterday to look at a new viv...walked out with two new vivs and a gorgeous Mexican Black Kingsnake! he's a fantastic charachter and ive been considering buying him for some time and finally gave in yesterday!  |

Onyx was strongly considered but was worried that the...less widely cultured (i think thats about as democratic as i can be)amongst us may have just thought i named it after a pokemon snake lol! He's no biter, PROBABLY the friendliest, most inquisitive snake i have owned to date to be honest! |

Congrats on the new addition! I love the name to, reading the thread from the beginning I was going to suggest Onyx or Cole but the vote closed lol hope he settles in ok  |

Thanks Louise! glad you like it! i though it really suited him and was quite in keeping with my other lot's names! (maybe not wotsit and biscuit lol!) by the way, whilst admiring your rack (ahem) i noticed the background on the snakes in your sig looks awesome! what did you use may i ask?

my new king snake is called (drumroll please) "Obsidian"!
think it suits him great! |

i did consider that...it would be cool huh? its so hard to choose a name for a snake with SOOOO much personality! origionally i wanted to call it "Altair" like assassins creed but that name would better suit a climbing lizard of some sort...
an HP name for an MBK? surely it could only be the dark lord himself? he who must not named? would tie in with Marvolo the goins then too! see, it works on two levels! (sorry, i too am a massive HP geek!) |

cant decide on a name yet...you all know how i am with names...i considered "liquorice", "Darth", and a few others but didnt like em...im quite taken with "Carbon" but im open to suggestions! :) |
