Posted - 09/12/2010 : 20:22:00 I know its not a reptile or an exotic but.... My husbands friends have a pet turkey called "Charlie", a lucky turkey NOT destined for the kitchen table. They call him and he comes running and loves spending time indoors. How cute is that

Posted - 10/12/2010 : 09:31:10 He's cute in a strange kind of way! Wouldn't fancy the idea of a fully grown one in the house though as I think they are a bit scary when they are big (unless cooked to perfection that is ) |

Charlie is definitely a cool birdie though, bless him. A house turkey sounds awesome

Posted - 09/12/2010 : 20:35:40 When we had the ducks, the people we got them off had 2 turkeys as pets they were named Sage and Onion. Turkeys are brilliant animals, I wanted one but they can get massive. |
