oh, and if you think cornsnake poo is bad, well..............

if you want to keep one, then the best bet is to mimic the natural environment as best you can. as said, their diet is mainly amphibians, most of the rest is fish, they rarely eat mice.

Google Natrix Natrix, you can find plenty of info about them.

from the little I have read about captive grassies the only real concern is with feeding - some seem very reluctant to take f/t mice because their natural diet is amphibians.

im waiting for a call on these critters in the next few days so ill shall find out what is actually available as far as i know the owner is only giving me 1 as a favour to a family member(well sort of)but i will see what they say as i cant really see them jus throwing back them into the wild if they have more and its not really a popular snake from what i have read so we shall have to see

You can't have any GP. It's against the rules.

*quickly goes to add it to the rules*

The wildlife act states that to Trade, harm, kill or sell them in any way IS illegal. Captive keeping is not. Which would mean that they could only be given away in the future.

don't they have to be CB F1 or F2 or even older? and you need to be able to prove it? hmmmm, could be a bit of a grey area there.............

i'm guessing UK temps and humidity are fine for them

What type of grass snake?
You may need to have a good check first as I believe the grass snake itself is a protected species, assuming natrix natrix.
