After trying to feed my Brazilian rainbow boa for the past 13days and has been refusing to eat i tried almost everything so i left him alone for 2 days and then tried again today with just a rat pup and it worked he took it.

I got a ratpup on tongs and slowly put towards him in his Faun , and then kept it still as i didn't want to scare him and then he slowly put him head inline of the rat pup and started to come closer to it and then had a little taste at the ratpup so he was showing intrest in the ratpup then he slowly started to open his mouth and then latched on to the ratpup and started to swallow , i'm so happy i finally got to see him eat and plus it was his first feed with me .

Sorry didn't take any pictures as i didn't want my flash on camera to dazel Mayhem and let go of the ratpup and refuse to eat , but as it gets more confident with its food i will take some pics of feeding.

Im so glad he ate i was in a panic as i thought he was going to be a non feeder with me but turns out he just need to settle down a lil bit longer and have the humidity cranked up higher.

hope he continues to feed well for you although maybe you were starting to panic a bit too soon - you know how new snakes like to stress us by not feeding!

glad he ate for you, but you say you tried everything to get him to eat, as youve had him under 2 weeks did you try to let him settle in.
