i would just like to say hi to all. i have had my snake for about a year now got it off a friend she was in pretty bad shape wen i got her but shes doin ok now. as i got her off a friend i dont really know alot about her....
could someone tell me how to put pics up and i will lol not very good with computers

Welcome to the forum Nath! This is a great forum with lots of experienced owners happy to give their advice and support. You also get lots of fun and friendship  . As you have had your corn for a year you must already know about corn snake keeping, so sorry if I am repeating information you already know...but it is better heard twice than not at all.
I am sorry she was originally in such bad shape  , it is sad when that happens and is so often down to a lack of knowledge (which is why I have no qualms in directing you to information you probably already know  ). Well done for giving her the tlc necessary to bring her back to health....it cant have been easy and shows how committed you are to her.
The forum provides great information. The best place to look is http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/corn_snake_care_sheet.htm, it has lots of information for new snake owners. Also read this topic on 'Your 1st Snake' http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4133
Unfortunately with many pet shops you cannot trust what they are telling you . Double check anything you have been told with us on here. Remember that no question is regarded as a silly question .....it is much better asked and answered, you will probably find others who want the info too! First place to look is in the top right hand corner of the screen where there is a search button...type in what you are worried about and see if you can find an answer, if not then dont hesitate to ask!
I know you dont know much from her life before she came to you. I keep 'Snake Diaries', noting things like weight, length, feeding dates and what you feed, shedding dates, health problems. I know it seems a bit over the top but it is actually really helpful keeping track of your snake's health - I even note when Kellog and Silvesta poo  !!
You didnt even need to be told the unwritten forum rule - pics as soon as possible! Sorry you are having trouble with Photobucket...it is not easy for those of us who are not computer minded....but if I could work it out I am sure you will .
A warning - corn snakes are addictive.....and yes, the majority of us have stood up, said "hello my name is **** and I am addicted to corns........! And I am proud of it!" You have lasted a year with only one, but once you join us here the corn path to addiction gets very slippery, so be warned!!

have you set up a photobucket account? its free and the best way to get pics on here.. you upload your pics, then you cna resize them and use the 4th link on the left hand side of the page,copy and paste that onto a thread on here and hey presto |
