Hi! I've just got my first snake today. Just thought i'd say hi. It's a 5 month old red rat snake. I was wondering if there is actually any difference between red rat snakes and corn snakes? Are they the same breed?

Hello, and welcome to the best corn snake forum, ever! (I have looked at quite a few, so I believe it to be the best)

I don't have any pics of my own snake right now (my camera isn't working) but i've found a pic from the net that looks very similar.

Hello and welcome.
If you can get some pictures up I am sure someone will be able to define the morph / breed of your snake.

Thanks for that! I've just been looking at morphs on the internet and i'm not so convinced that it is a normal corn snake. I don't have any pictures yet, but the snake is grey with red markings. Would that be a Miami Phase do you think?
